Terms of Service.
These terms outline the agreement between you (the client) and Perth Eco Clean Co. (the service provider). By booking our services, you agree to these terms.
Welcome to Perth Eco Clean Co. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before booking a clean or scheduling recurring services. These terms form a legally binding agreement between Perth Eco Clean Co. (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”) and the customer (referred to as “you”, “your”, or “the client”).
1. Bookings, Quotes, and Scope of Work
All bookings are subject to availability and the following parameters:
- Accuracy of Description: Quotes are generated based on details you supply (e.g., number of rooms, property type, soil levels, bin quantity). If our cleaning crew finds the property differs significantly from the description, we reserve the right to revise the price before commencing work or adjust the clean scope.
- Confirmation: A booking is considered locked and confirmed only when you receive an email or text confirmation from our administrative team.
- Product Commitments: We perform all cleaning using biodegradable, non-toxic, eco-friendly products. If a specific task requires industrial chemicals (such as high-grade paint removal), this must be agreed upon in writing beforehand.
2. Payments, Billing, and Account Terms
Our payment rules are designed to ensure fair, transparent transactions:
- Payment Methods: We accept direct bank transfer (EFT), credit/debit card payments, and cash on completion.
- Payment Due Date: Unless a corporate account layout is pre-arranged, payments are due on the day the service is completed.
- Late Payments: Invoices outstanding past 7 days will accrue a late administrative fee of $15 per week. We reserve the right to suspend any active recurring service schedules until outstanding balances are cleared.
3. Wheelie Bin Cleaning Service Rules
Our wheelie bin cleaning division operates under specific operational requirements due to fuel, transport, and equipment configuration overheads:
- Pricing Rate: Standard bin cleaning is priced starting from $25 per bin.
- Strict Call-out Minimum: We enforce a strict **minimum of two (2) bins per call-out or scheduled visit**. Bookings requesting a single-bin clean cannot be scheduled due to the mobilization and transit costs of our heavy-duty cleaning vehicles.
- Bin Availability: Your bins must be completely empty and placed on the kerbside or in a pre-arranged accessible outdoor location on the scheduled clean day. If the bins contain waste or are locked away and inaccessible, the service cannot be executed, and a $25 access failure fee will apply.
4. 72-Hour Bond Back Guarantee (End of Lease Clean)
We align our End of Lease cleaning services with REIWA standards. We offer a **72-Hour Bond Back Guarantee** subject to the following criteria:
- Notification Window: If your landlord or property manager raises cleaning issues in their official property inspection report, you must notify us with the specific list within **72 hours** of our service completion.
- Rectification: Upon receiving the report, we will return to the property to re-clean the disputed areas free of charge.
- Exclusions: The guarantee is void if the property is occupied, visited by other trades (e.g. carpet cleaners, movers, painters), or holds pets between the time of our clean and the final inspection.
- Utilities Requirement: Electricity and running tap water must remain active at the property on the day of the clean. If these utilities are disconnected, we cannot guarantee the clean, and the bond-back promise is voided.
5. Customer Access, Safety, and Utilities
To ensure our cleaning crew can operate safely and complete the work on time:
- Access: You must ensure our team has unobstructed access to the property at the agreed time (e.g. unlocked gates, keys in lockbox, correct digital entry codes).
- Failure to Access: If our crew arrives but cannot gain entry within 20 minutes of the scheduled time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and charge an access failure fee equal to 50% of the quote or $50, whichever is greater.
- Safety: The property must represent a safe working environment. All pets must be secured, and aggressive dogs must be placed in a separate enclosed area. If a cleaner feels unsafe due to structural hazards, biohazards, or aggressive animals, they may suspend the service immediately.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We schedule our routes and clean slots in advance. If you need to change your clean date:
- Notice Window: You must provide at least **24 hours notice** prior to the scheduled cleaning start time to reschedule or cancel a booking.
- Late Fees: Cancellations or rescheduling requests received with less than 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the quote. Same-day cancellation or failure to notify us at all will result in a fee equal to 100% of the booked price.
7. Liability and Damages
We carry comprehensive public liability insurance. However, the following exclusions apply to our liability:
- Pre-Existing Wear and Tear: We are not liable for wear and tear, including old grout discoloration, scaling on shower glass that has calcified, peeling paint on skirting boards, or pre-existing scratches on glass, stone, or wood surfaces.
- Brittle and Unstable Fixtures: We are not liable for damage to loose light fittings, unstable shelving, precariously hung pictures, or loose blinds that fall during standard cleaning.
- Reporting Period: Any damage or clean issues must be reported to us in writing (including photos) within **24 hours** of the clean completing.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of **Western Australia (WA)**. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
